The Government of Andhra Pradesh on wednesday transferred 25 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, Commissioner of Visakhapatnam city and Superintendent of police (SP) of five districts. The eight IPS officers of 1998 batch have promoted from the rank of Deputy Inspector General to Inspector General and four Superintendents of Police (2002 batch) were promoted as DIGs.
